Our Sterilization Technicians, Jennifer and Gabriella are totally dedicated to sterilization and the welfare of the children we serve. In our office your child’s safety is our highest priority. Throughout the day they continuously and thoroughly sterilize and disinfect our equipment to the highest standards. Our protocol for sterilization includes the following:

  • Before and after each patient appointment, all treatment surfaces (e.g., countertops, chair surfaces, lights, x-ray machines, and trays) are disinfected with the most effective and safest products available.
  • To ensure your safety, we follow a number of standard sterilization procedures with all instruments and handpieces. First, they are brought into our sterilization room and placed in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove even microscopic debris. The instruments and handpieces are then rinsed thoroughly before being sterilized in an autoclave, which runs for 30 - 60 minutes and reaches a temperature of 400 425 degrees, thereby destroying all bacteria and all viruses.
  • Our autoclave is monitored regularly to ensure effectiveness and safety.

Gabriella is also a certified translator, and is available for translation services to anyone speaking Spanish. She is available for appointment services, translation during the child’s visit and for treatment planning. She is also x-ray certified, and holds a certificate for coronal polishing. She has a dental degree from Honduras, and is deeply qualified to discuss your child’s dental needs. She is also a great comfort to non-English speaking patients.

We have a very dedicated and experienced dental assistant staff. Regenia, our lead assistant, has been with our practice for almost 30 years. She is our new patient coordinator and our treatment plan coordinator. Once your child leaves the waiting room one of our knowledgeable assistants will be by their side through their entire experience. Both Meagan and Chelsea have children of their own and have a special connection to young children. Lindsey, our fourth assistant will be leaving us soon to pursue a career in dental hygiene. We are proud that three of our former assistants have used their time and experience in our office as a springboard, and continued their education to become registered dental hygienists. All of our assistants are x-ray and coronal polish certified. If you have any questions about your child’s visit or simply a dental health question, please feel free to call our office.

Autumn our Financial Coordinator and DeDe our Scheduling Coordinator will be the first to greet you on the phone as well as when you enter our office.
